Food Assistance Programs
Our markets participate in three food assistance programs, which you can learn more about below!
SFMNP - The Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program is a state initiative that provides qualifying seniors with an annual $50 voucher to buy fruits and vegetables at qualifying markets. At our market, we offer a number of vendors who are able to accept the SFMNP card.
SNAP - The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program is a federal and state program which provides food aid to qualifying members in our community. With your SNAP dollars, you can purchase produce, baked goods, honey, and more at the market!
DUFB - Double Up Food Bucks is a program that we are able to offer through a grant from the Hunger Solutions Institute at Auburn University. Through this program, we are able to DOUBLE your SNAP dollars, up to $40 additional dollars for the purchase of fruits and vegetables.
