Welcome to the O Grows Community Garden

Have you heard that goats can eat anything? Well, truth is, our curious friends don't eat just anything, and many things can be poisonous to them, like tomatoes, avocados, citrus, meat scraps. For that reason, we ask that you only feed goats when accompanied by an O Grows staff member. Come out on a Saturday morning or on one of our Feed the Goats days. We know they'd love to see you!

We have tools on site that community gardeners can use for their on site gardens. Come when a staff member is present and we'd love to get you some of our tools.

Yes, you can drop off your fruit and vegetable scraps at the O Grows community garden. You can drop them in the metal cage right outside the goat area. We've got a list below with what can and cannot be added to the compost. If you have items that cannot be added to the compost, we have a trashcan right beside the compost drop off for those items. While we donate everything that we grow, we ask our neighbors to not pick directly from the garden. What we grow, we weigh before we donate, which helps us to keep track of garden production for future planning and accountability.
